The "Radnik" company was
founded on February 13th, 1961 by connecting several smaller bakeries across
Opatija and Lovran.
"Radnik Opatija d.d."
opened a new, modern and automatized bakery in Lovran , which significantly
increased working quality, production capacity and selection of products.
The bakery has the potential of
baking 1500 kgs of bread per hour. It also has a laboratory for controlling raw
materials and finished goods, an air-conditioned area for bread cooling, an
area for maintaining the packaging clean, a modern sanitary knot and other
content.
The company performs its activities
in two production facilities, one being in Lovran and the other in Malinska on
the island of Krk, 62 retail facilities, wholesale, and the company
administration in Lovran, which is located on the address Road 43. Istarske divizije 1/12.
In our production facility in
Lovran basic types of bread and rolls are produced for wide consummation. In
addition, production of half-industrial (vocational) way of producing bread and
other baked goods, so the market can be enriched with special types of bread
with "Radnik" characteristics.
Over the last five years Radnik Opatija has adopted European trends in producing frozen and
half-baked goods and pastries, which are prepared in our ovens.
Considering our wide production
assortment, long-time tradition, following the newest trends in baking, our
wish is to introduce the public to our products and achieve a succesful
bussiness cooperation.
We are pleased to emphasise that
the company "Radnik Opatija d.d." applies quality-management system
based on ISO 9001:2015 standard, and has also implemented HACCP system.

Our company's quality policy is
based on continuous activity of the company's administration and all employees
to achieve constant improvement and to maintain quality management system,
which is based on ISO 9001:2015 standard and HACCP system. Our quality
management system's core is based on quality policy. It includes basic
principles of our management, which are directed to:
Customers' pleasure – our
management success depends on our customers' pleasure, therefore our primary
assignment is to satisfy our customers' requests and needs, and also surpass
their expectations. Only with a satisfied customer we can gain the position of
the leading company in our area and keep the acquired recognition and the
company's image.
Positive relations with suppliers –
our products' quality which leads to our customers' pleasure greatly depends on
our suppliers' quality of merchandise and services. That's why we tend to
develop partnership relations based on open communication, information
exchange, respecting deadlines and plans.
Leadership – applying the quality
policy and its constant improvement is the administration's and employees'
obligation. The administration provides all neccessary resources for quality
policy's function and is directed to its constant advancement, and also
continuously motivates all employees to do so.
Cadres development – special
attention is given to constant investment in training, education and
advancement of employees. Only motivated and satisfied employees, their
knowledge and experience and their responsible relation to work can give the
most and the best results.
Respecting the law and regulations
– our activity is constantly coordinated with the law and implementing
regulations, and we encourage the suppliers, buyers and customers to apply
these. We constantly take care of health correctness and safety of our products
according to law regulations of the Republic of Croatia.
